The Story
The white jacket of the south.
The Cannes is the ivory shawl-collar of the line. Loro Piana wool, single-button, paired with a slim midnight trouser. The collar is cut high and rolls cleanly to the button.
It is named for the long evenings on the Croisette — the white jacket of the south, the one a man wears when the night is too warm for black and the dinner runs past midnight.
Fully canvassed, with a horsehair chest and a hand-set sleeve. Three fittings. A second pair of trousers, in ivory, is offered with the suit for daytime wear.
It is meant for the warm hour after the ceremony.
