The Story
The dress for the walk back.
The Croisette is the slip dress of the line — a bias-cut silk satin on fine straps, ankle length, finished by hand. The lightest gown we make.
Named for the boulevard in Cannes, the slip is the dress for the rehearsal dinner, the morning after, the long walk back from the table to the room. It is not the ceremony gown; it is the one a bride wears the day before, and the day after.
Cut on the bias from a single panel, with French seams and a hand-rolled hem. The straps are adjustable, set on a short slide. Three fittings.
It is a gown, and a slip, and very little else.
